Conveying Systems (Shingled Stream)
Gämmerler, D, StreamGrip is a modular three-dimensional conveying system for heat offset- and rotogravure-presses, designed to bring a shingled stream from one point to another (e.g. from folding to completion). The conveying system requires no adjusting and it transports shingled streams of varying thicknesses.
The operating principle of the conveying system is that the product is held by two endless belts. One belt is then released in curves preventing smudging. The conveying system operates at all press-speeds.
