Inkjet Printers
Kodak Versamark, USA produces high writing speed and high resolution inkjet systems. The print heads come with a print width of 1 (25 mm) and up.
Kodak produces water-based ink systems as well as solvent-based and UV-drying ink systems. The water-based systems are primarily used to write on absorbent materiel such as paper, carton etc., while the solvent-based ink-jet printers are used to write on non-absorbent material such as coated paper, plastics material etc. The UV-drying systems are primarily used for high resolution printing on a large number of varying surfaces.
The Kodak inkjet printers come as a stand alone unit, including controller for easy integration with existing mail bases, gathering stitching machines, perfect binders or foil wrapping machines.
It is possible to interconnect several Kodak inkjet printers to a shared controller and thereby enabling the system to either cover a larger printing surface or to print the company logo or specific information in coloured ink.
