In-line Stitching Systems
Tolerans, S was founded in 1947, and has ever since been market leading in the design and production of in-line stitching systems. The units can be mounted in heat offset-, newspaper- and rotogravure-presses.
The latest generation of Tolerans stitching systems processes up to 110,000 products per hour and is available with up to four stitching heads.
The stitching systems either come as units connected mechanically to the press or as separately servo-driven units.
Tolerans stitching systems operate under the production modes, Straight or Collect, which means that the product is either stitched directly in one line e.g. under the former or stitched directly against the folding cylinder.
The user has the option of combining several straight stitchers that are placed under the former, so that individually stitched and inserted products may be completed right from the folder.
