Register Guidance System
Since QuadTech, USA was founded 25 years ago, it has achieved a market leading position in register guidance systems. At present, their product range includes guidance systems for heat offset-, newspaper- and rotogravure-presses.
The newly developed universal multi-function camera, MultiCam™ provides the user with a tool to solve all types of register guidance tasks, including colour-to-colour register guidance, folder-control, including sidelay-control, process web control etc. MultiCam™ reads register marks as small as 0.36 mm at speeds of up to 18 m/s. It automatically searches for the register marks at speeds of up to 30 times per second, which means quick arrangement and thereby less waste.
QuadTech is a subsidiary of the large printing company QuadGraphic, and it has therefore been natural for the company to develop register guidance systems that are logical to operate for the printer through the simple and well-arranged user interface.
